So you have an amazing-wonderful-super-fabulous product that you want to sell to the world? Maybe you have printed some stickers on your PC and take your first sample to a retail store… The buyer starts in with questions about FOB, UPC, POS, “leaks and swells allowances”, “slack”, and “sell bys’”. What about nutritional info and CFIA regulations, labeling standards and French translations!?! This is the art of packaging. As a food business not only do you need to be compliant to CFIA regulations (which are always changing), but as you may not get prime placement on the store shelf, it’s even more important to offer consumers something unique that stands out. What you need is something as beautiful as your product is amazing.
